catalog of recent visitors

In the past week or two many new dots have appeared on my map, including, at the most distant, Beijing; following with closer vicinities to NY are (what generally appear to be, after consulting a political map of North America) Salt Lake City, UT; Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Birmingham, AL; Washington, D.C.; Seattle, WA; somewhere in Nebraska; somewhere in Missouri; and it appears that what used to be a dot on Tasmania has relocated to Melbourne, Australia.
